Smart Society – Curse or blessing?
But an intelligent society is not only based on (digital) technologies. In addition to the necessary financial resources, political will and cross-silo thinking and action are essential. Thus “smart” solutions only emerge when the data and processes of the individual silos are linked with the goal of creating added value for society through high-quality information.

Our society is becoming ever more intelligent, or rather “smarter. At present, the adjective “smart” is prefixed to countless terms, although its meaning and purpose are not always clear.
