To support the rapid expansion of our UK Cyber Security practice, we are looking for an energetic and commercially driven Sales & Business Development Lead to drive growth across our priority industries.

Your role

As a Sales Manager / Business Development Lead – Cyber Security, you will be responsible for building and expanding Eraneos’ cybersecurity consulting business across the UK market. You will sell high-value consulting and advisory services (not reselling products or MSSP), working closely with senior consultants and technical experts to shape compelling client solutions.
This role combines new business development, account growth, and strategic market positioning within a fast-moving and complex cyber security landscape.

Your main tasks

  • Market & revenue growth
    Drive growth of Eraneos’ Cyber Security consulting portfolio in the UK, with a strong focus on Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Transport & Logistics, Life Sciences, and other commercial sectors. Identify, target, and secure new enterprise-level clients.
  • Pipeline & opportunity management
    Build and manage a robust sales pipeline leveraging CRM tools (e.g., MS Dynamic), from lead generation to deal closure. Forecast revenues, track progress against targets, and ensure a healthy flow of qualified opportunities.
  • Solution selling & deal shaping
    Work closely with consulting to design tailored cybersecurity solutions that address client risk, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
  • Client relationship leadership
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, CISOs, and senior stakeholders, positioning Eraneos as a trusted cyber security advisor.
  • Bid & proposal leadership
    Lead the development of RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and commercial offers, delivering high-quality, compelling presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Market & industry insight
    Stay current with cyber threats, regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST), and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies and client conversations.
  • Negotiation & deal closure
    Manage complex sales cycles, handle objections, negotiate commercial terms, and close high-value consulting engagements.

This role is for you if you bring:

  • Enterprise Cyber sales expertise
    5+ years of experience in B2B sales within cyber security, IT services, or professional consulting, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Consultative selling mindset
    Ability to translate complex cyber and technology challenges into business-focused value propositions for senior decision-makers.
  • UK market & sector knowledge
    Strong understanding of the UK cyber security market, particularly within Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Transport & Logistics, Life Sciences, and regulated industries.
  • Stakeholder & deal leadership
    – Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across large organisations and navigate complex buying processes.
    – Commercial & Analytical Strength
    – Strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and justify business cases for cyber security investments.

As the icing on the cake, you bring

  • Experience in a boutique consulting firm in the UK
  • Existing network in UK Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, Transport & Logistics, Life Sciences, or regulated industries
  • Experience selling transformation, risk, or compliance-driven consulting services
