The company is transforming from a multi regional towards an integrated global organization. However, doing so required its IT to be streamlined in terms of structure, processes, and technology. It was also looking to define a sourcing strategy to guarantee the support of global operating suppliers. The company turned to Eraneos to help it achieve these goals.
The IT target operating model enables the company’s digital and information technology division to support the company’s wider ambitions in connecting to the patient in the best way.
The approach
We got to work by defining an IT target operating model, which would enable the application of a corporate strategy or vision. This was a high-level representation of how the company can be best organized to more efficiently and effectively deliver and execute its IT strategy.
The result
We successfully delivered an IT target operating model along with the corresponding sourcing strategy. The model consisted of among others how governance should work, the key global processes, organizational structure, staffing, and global technology.
