Quooker is a pioneer in boiling water tap solutions and has built its reputation on innovation and smart technology. To support its strategic growth goals and stay at the forefront of its industry, Quooker aimed to evolve its IT landscape by embracing scalability, cost-efficiency, and long-term resilience.
Recognizing the opportunity to enhance its digital operations, Quooker set out to design a future-proof IT ecosystem that would drive flexibility, transparency, and seamless data management. The existing IT landscape relied on legacy applications with rigid point-to-point integrations that limited adaptability and visibility. By modernizing its systems, Quooker sought improved autonomy in managing integrations and transitioning to cloud-based data management to enable scalability and advanced analytics capabilities.
To bring this vision to life, Quooker partnered with Eraneos, leveraging their expertise to craft a future proof application landscape with a data-centric approach to software integration. Together, they laid the foundation to fuel Quooker’s continued growth and success.
The approach
The multi-phase collaboration included an assessment of their existing application landscape, focusing on ERP, as well as advice on future-proofing the landscape. Most recently, the collaboration included executing an integration strategy powered by an Azure integration platform.
Starting with the application landscape assessment, Eraneos identified inefficiencies and optimization opportunities. The assessment confirmed that the existing ERP system was not a sustainable long-term solution. Based on Quooker’s operational needs and growth ambitions, Eraneos recommended an application landscape that would be future-proof and incorporate a fit-for-purpose ERP. To prepare for selecting this ERP, Eraneos – acting as a strategic advisor – helped Quooker detail the requirements to ensure they made the right choice.
The next challenge was formulating a data and application integration strategy. Through a series of collaborative workshops, Eraneos introduced a data-centric integration strategy that empowers Quooker with greater control over data flows and system connectivity. Previously, application features and limitations drove the integration design process; now, data definitions and quality are the main drivers. To ensure long-term scalability, Eraneos helped design and deploy Quooker’s data-centric integration platform on Microsoft Azure. This included hands-on training for Quooker’s developers, equipping them with the skills to independently build and manage cloud-based integrations.

The results
Through its collaboration with Eraneos, Quooker is transitioning pragmatically to a modern, scalable IT environment that will support current operations and future growth. The new application landscape design provides a solid foundation for the future, enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring adaptability to evolving business needs.
With the introduction of an Azure-based data integration platform, Quooker has gained full autonomy over its system connectivity and data flows. This reduces reliance on third-party vendors and increases overall agility.
By adopting a data-centric integration approach, Quooker has also significantly improved the visibility, control, and reliability of its data across the IT ecosystem. Beyond the technical implementation, Quooker’s internal teams gained hands-on expertise through in-depth, on-the-job training supported by Eraneos. This investment in knowledge transfer ensures that Quooker can effectively manage and optimize its new cloud-based IT environment while continuing to innovate with emerging technologies and data-driven solutions. In parallel, Eraneos collaborated closely with Quooker to develop a five-year IT strategy, offering a clear roadmap for continuous digital transformation.
