Meet Manager Cem
It was Cem’s girlfriend who worked next door to the Ginkgo office who suggested he should apply for an internship – the rest is history. Cem has been working at Ginkgo since 2016 the company was still a small agency with around 20 employees. Originally from Hamburg, Cem now resides in Nürnberg where he has climbed the ranks from an intern to his current role.
Cem studied International Business in the Netherlands and received his Master’s degree in Rotterdam. He is an expert in Service Now and ITSM processes within the automotive and finance industries.
“I enjoy any kind of outdoor activities, if it’s a new challenging hike or simply exploring another city and its culture.”
While being aware that consulting is not a typical 9 to 5 job, Cem appreciates the work life balance that Eraneos Germany provides. He is grateful for Ginkgo’s take on flexible work, especially regarding remote work, as it allows him to work from anywhere and at any time.
Over the years, Cem has noticed that Ginkgo has become more and more diverse. “I appreciate our open culture where everyone is treated fairly.”
When Cem is not working, he loves to travel and explore new cultures. He enjoys hiking and being one with nature. He is also an avid cook and enjoys spending time in the kitchen preparing and presenting his dishes. The annual weekend with his childhood friends is a highlight that he looks forward to every year.
